History

Opened in 1991, the MUSEUMMMK für Moderne Kunst was one of Germany’s very first museums of contemporary art.

The society of Freunde des MMK is an important partner in the financial and non-material support of all of the museum’s projects.

MMK Foundation

The MMK Stiftung was founded in 2011 with the aim of supporting and advancing the MUSEUMMMKFÜR MODERNE KUNST, and in particular the TOWERMMK.
