Membership

Become a member of the Freunde des MUSEUMMMK für Moderne Kunst e.V. and lend your support to one of the most renowned museums of contemporary art worldwide. You can thus contribute to the MMK’s realization of its variegated projects and help ensure that a broad public will continue to have access to contemporary art in the future.

In close coordination with the museum, the society of friends offers its members special events such as previews, a monthly jour fixe or joint art trips. As a member of the Freunde des MMK, you enjoy very personal access to the museum and are part of a network of enthusiastic curators, artists, culture producers and art lovers.

The Freunde des Museum für Moderne Kunst is an active and dedicated community that has a close bond to the museum borne by its enthusiasm for contemporary art.

TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP

Personal membership: fee 100 € // 1 membership card

Patrons’ personal membership: fee 100 € + minimum 400 € donation // 2 membership cards

Company membership: fee 100 € + minimum 2,900 € donation // 10 membership cards

One-for-two membership: fee 150 € // 1 partner membership card, valid for 2 persons

Student membership: fee 30 € // 1 membership card

GIFT MEMBERSHIP

Give the gift of a one-year membership in the Freunde des MMK, with all the benefits enjoyed by the friends of the museum. Free admission year-round, invitations to all previews and exhibition openings and a vibrant programme of events: give a year of special pleasure!

Please send us the completed order form and transfer the membership fee to the account shown (Deutsche Bank, IBAN DE29 5007 0024 0801 6610 00). We will send you or the gift recipient (your choice!) a letter of welcome and the membership card of the Freunde des MMK as well as information on membership and the current programme.

The membership is valid for one calendar year. It does not renew automatically but can be renewed as often as you like.
